How to Install a Blogger Template with the Paste Method

Before proceeding to install a new Blogger Themes/Template, make sure you have backed up the Theme/Template first to avoid Error that might could occur. You can see how to back up the template here.

If the Blogger Theme or Template has been backed up, you can install the new Themes/Template. Follow the following steps:

1. Open the theme file (.xml) using the Text Editor (Notepad, Notepad ++, Sublime Text, etc.) and copy all the code by pressing CTRL + A (Select All) then CTRL + C (Copy) on the Keyboard.
2. Go to Blogger Dashboard, select the Theme menu > Click the Dropdown Icon (Down Arrow, which is next to the Customize/Customize text) > Select the Edit HTML menu.
3. Select all Theme codes by pressing CTRL + A and paste the code that you copied earlier by pressing CTRL + V on the keyboard.
4. Finally, click the Disk Icon (On the top right) to save changes that have been made.

If you use this method, all the existing widgets in the old Themes/Template will be deleted. If you want all the widgets on the old template to remain, then you can install the Blogger Template using the Upload Method.
