Configuring Blog Post Gadgets

There are several things that can be arranged for the Blog Post gadget, including:

• Configure the number of posts that appear on the main page.
• Configure Jumplink text (Readmore).
• Show/Hide Author name.
• Show/Hide publication date.
• Show/Hide comment counts and links.
• Show/Hide post label list.
• Show/Hide Share button.
• Show/Hide Author Profile Below Post (Item).
• Show/Hide and Configure In Feed Ads (AdSense).

You can configure it easily by following the steps below:

1. Go to Blogger Dashboard, select the Layout menu. Look for the Section titled MAIN > Click the pencil icon on the Blog Post (Blog Post) gadget.
2. A Blog Post window configuration popup will appear.
3. To adjust the number of posts to be displayed on the main page, you can write the number in the Main Page Options > Number of posts on the main page.
4. To set the Jumplink/Readmore text, you can change it in the Main Page Options > Post page link text section.
5. In the Post Page Options section. You can check/uncheck some things that may not be needed.
6. Finally, click the Save button.

Make sure not to use Jumplink/Readmore text that is identical to "Click Here", "Click This", "Go", "Here", "This", "Start", "Right Here", "More" and "Learn More". Some SEO Audit services like Lighthouse flag it as error : "A Link do not have descriptive text".

On the Index page. If the list of posts that appears does not include all posts, you can change the Number of posts to Days With Post in the Main Page Options section by clicking Dropdown (Dropdown beside the number of posts field).

It should also be noted that there are Post Page Options that cannot or are not compatible to use, such as Show Quick Editing, Show Email Post Link and Location.
